Retrieval practice, built in

Questions are woven into the reading, so students recall as they go. Practice testing is rated one of the two most effective learning techniques there is.

Fresh questions, not memorized answers

Each section draws from a deep question pool, so returning students meet new questions instead of memorizing a fixed set. Spacing practice out is the other top technique.

Credit for the effort, not the answer

Students earn credit for completing the practice, not for getting every question right. With no grade riding on a single answer, there’s little to gain from an AI shortcut.

Evidence over learning styles

Our design follows what the research supports (retrieval, spacing, and clear goals), not the popular “learning styles” myth the evidence doesn’t back.

Grounded in learning science: practice testing and spaced practice rank as the two highest-utility study techniques (Dunlosky et al., 2013); lower-stakes practice is tied to less academic dishonesty (eSchool News, 2025); and matching teaching to “learning styles” isn’t supported by evidence (Pashler et al., 2008).
